Sales Representatives for Candle Line

Armadilla Wax Works candle manufacturing company, est.1971, is looking for experienced and motivated Sales Representatives to bring in new accounts from local and national businesses. We provide high quality candles made in the United States, designed for the special event, wholesale floral and event distributor markets as well as gift and decor markets.

Ideal candidate to represent our company will have knowledge of decorative accessories or supplies and have sales contacts within this industry. Experience with regional distributorships and wholesalers in events and floral markets a plus. Candle customers include banquet facilities, florists and distributors, caterers and rental companies.

We are looking for someone who has experience establishing relationships and closing business with both independent businesses and larger, regional and corporate accounts, including resorts and chain properties. Knowledge about candles is a plus, but not required.

Candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 + years successful sales with decorative accessories.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and data management programs, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,Power point.)
  • Motivated to sell.
  • Professional yet outgoing personality, able to talk to customers in the boardroom as well as the stockroom.
  • Willingness/ability to travel outside of your region to specific trade shows as required.
  • Strong interest in event planning and special event markets.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
